Yes. There is a 10-minute break at the top of every hour. Adults 18 and older may remain in the pool during this time.
No alcohol, glass or smoking is allowed in the pool area.
- The pool will be closed if the predicted high for the day is 70 degrees or below.
- The pool will close for at least 30 minutes when lightening is present. The pool may reopen if the weather clears up. Watch our Facebook page for updates.
Street parking is located on Parkview Drive. Please do not park on in the pool driveway. This drive must be clear in the event an emergency vehicle needs to get to the pool.
Children must be 10 years old to be a the pool without an adult. They also must pass a deep water test.
Children 13 and under must take this test to swim in the deep end. The test requires the swimmer to swim back and forth the width of the pool using the stroke of their choice without stopping (dog paddling is not allowed). After a one-minute break, the swimmer must then tread water for 60 seconds without assistance.
Children who have not completed the deep water test may swim in the deep end ONLY if an adult is in the water with them (life jackets are preferred).
All children who have passed the deep water test must wear a wrist band provided by the lifeguards to swim in the deep end.
No. Oils affect the chemicals in the water and can cause harm to the pool. If you apply oil, please shower off before entering the pool.
Yes! For safety, the lifeguard may ask that large floats be removed from the pool during extremely busy periods.
